THE STORY
I was hired by Schacht Spindle, Inc., a Colorado-based company which specializes in making handcrafted weaving looms and spindles, to redesign the company's website and identity in the spirit of its 40th anniversary and to establish a more competitive edge.
Through my stay with the company, I became involved in all aspects of branding, including designing the company newsletter, packaging, advertising and collateral.

WEBSITE :: HOME PAGE
The website was built using HTML, CSS, PHP and javascript. My goal was to create a website that would facilitate consumer experience and customer service, but also be easy to update.
Because of the large amount of content I had to manage, I implemented features like drop-down menus and focused attention to content hierarchy. It was important to reach out to a new audience and build a sense of community, so I developed sections that allows customers and vendors to watch video weaving lessons and download project instructions.
